Blackbird Cafe Pies, A Great Addition to Thanksgiving

blackbird-Thanksgiving-Pies-2016

Blackbird is selling pies for Thanksgiving! Order between now and next Monday, November 21st. Pickup will be on Wednesday, November 23rd. All of our pies are made from scratch, and because if that, we have the flakiest, most tender crust! Choose from pecan, pumpkin, Apple, peach, blueberry, raspberry, or mixed berry. No one needs to know you didn't bake it yourself.

"We love that the community turns to us for their baked goods and warm caffeine treats during the holiday season," said Mary Koselke, owner of Blackbird. "We’re grateful locals include us in their holiday traditions year after year, and that we’re able to serve them well with quality goods and service!"

Blackbird Cafe prides itself on serving only amazing food. We make it from scratch daily, using only the highest-quality ingredients and locally-grown produce. Our selection of homemade soups and quiches change every day. We serve sandwiches, paninis, and seasonal entrees like Veggie Pot Pies and Macaroni and Cheese. All of Blackbird Cafe's baked goods are hand-made every morning, with the exception of our bagels and croissants which are delivered fresh from Chicago's Labriola Bakery.

We offer the best selection of fresh coffees and espresso drinks in Valparaiso. Our Blackbird Blend coffee is a best-seller. The Tea Wall holds 50 different fine teas from around the world, like Blood Orange Black, Darjeeling, and Madame Butterfly.

Best of all, Blackbird Cafe is a true local coffee shop -- the kind of place where the baristas know your name and remember what you order. There's always plenty of lively talk and camaraderie here. We have the best customers in town. We cater as well, so give us a call to discuss your needs.
